Love Song

When God tells you to do something out, our only response should be obedience; obedience that comes from a position of love. We don’t have to obey. He doesn’t force anything on us. God is a gentleman. Obedience shouldn’t feel like an obligation but rather a love song to our creator. I agree with the Jews way of looking at work. They see work as worship, and scripture backs that mindset up. It says in Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; KJV. So I write tonight, and I’ll write the next. Because I love Him, I really love Him. He is good to me.

a new chapter

I have always been into Journaling. It has served as a form of mediation for me. It helps me string my thoughts together and come to conclusions. As I start this new chapter in my Journal, I want to note that my views are always changing because I am constantly learning. God is taking me on this journey called life, and I never claim to know it all, but I will put myself out there and not let the fear of being wrong or of failure be a stumbling block. I’m tired of being paralyzed by fear. Let people think what they want. People will judge it’s what people do. It’s almost second nature for us to judge people. We do it all the time, so it’s impossible to avoid it.

The fear of man is a snare. That’s one snare I refuse to allow for it to take me captive. I will make mistakes. I will get things wrong. Even at the end of my life, I will still have things wrong when I learned all I could. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 1 Corinthians 13:9. I believe when we get to heaven, we will spend eternity living, growing, and learning with Jesus. I want to live my life in a way that’s like a love song to God.

Blessings, Goodnight.
