My God is very patient. No one is more patient than my God.

He will wait until it’s done, no matter how long it takes.

I need that since I seem to learn slowly.

Even when I get it, I will need a review many times before it gets from my head to my heart, and I need to be reminded again for it to go from my heart to my feet.

The Holy Spirit is the One with us holding our hand, being patient with us, and teaching us in the way we should go.

I am opening myself up to learning more about the Holy Spirit and how to have an intimate relationship with this part of God.

We fear what we don’t understand; we tend to avoid it.

When people don’t understand God, they negatively fear Him and try to avoid Him. The fear of the Lord is reverencing and putting a value on His Words.

Since faith works by love, we cannot afford not to understand God.

Religion wants to sell us the idea that God is an unsolvable mystery and it’s impossible to understand Him.

That is a lie.

God sent us Jesus to show His nature, and when Jesus ascended, He sent us His Holy Spirit to teach us about God and His ways.

“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” – 1Cor 2:11

Who is better equipped to teach us but God’s Spirit?

The treasures of wisdom are hidden for us to search out with the Holy Spirit.

We are on a quest with God, and if you have ever seen a movie, you know it’s during the journey when bonding takes place.

Relationships take time, and though they take effort, they don’t have to be hard.

The Holy Spirit wants you to enjoy the journey with Him.

There is nothing to fear.

Psalm 18:1-3

“I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.”

He has given us everything we need.

2 Peter 1:3-4

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.:

His joy is our strength.

Nehemiah 8:10

“Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

God’s heart for us is spoken so clearly throughout the Bible. If you come at reading the Word with the right mindset you can clearly hear the outcry of our LORD.

Isaiah 41:13

“For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.”

He is not supposed to be a mystery to His children. He gave us a detailed book about Himself and a guide to help us understand. He means for us to walk through life with strength, fearlessness, and full of joy. So press in and ask God for help.

James 1:5

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

Matthew 7:7

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
